CCAD Love.

In May just passed CCAD attended Surtex in New York, me and my fellow CCAD Level 5 (at the time) students helped man the stand. 

Banners where made of events CCAD has attened over the past year of 2013 to help promote the college at open evenings and I am proud to say that a photo of me and my friends behine the sand at Surtex New York is on one. I am pround to be promoting my college in such a way.

Minor Project 2013

My first project of second year Level 6, only a short 9 week project before we move on to Final Major. I bassed this project on birds and flying insects with the colours of sunset skys.

My new project is on card and gift. With so many different areas of gift to work with I found is hard to find a theme I wanted to do. After looking around shops such as Clintons and Paperchase I got my theme down to Wedding or Kids.

21st Century Romance - Samples.

An update on my 21st century romance project. I am now in the last week and a bit of this project and I feel like I have done nothing! Even though I am constantly being reassured by my peers that I have. I think it was the 3 week xmas break that did it, anyways I have one final design all sewn up, two more that need sewn and I don't know where am gonna pull the last final design out from but I should have an idea by thursday.

Also thing is what happeneds when I tried to do some freehand embroidery on my sewing machine at home, yeah its not the best sewing machine in the world....

Finals

Todays Work. 3/12/12

Today was all about drawing with the sewing machine and developing my drawings.

Drawing on the sewing machine for the first time in months and I think I did quite well, it could use a bit of working on but I like the roughness of the look and I just did it to bulk out my drawing work a bit.
